Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved with the NDSA Community. Attend an Interest Group meeting, join the NDSA listserv, or converse with collegues via Slack. This page also lists current opportunities from groups seeking participation.

Current Group Opportunities

  • The Climate Watch Group is soliciting for new group members. To express interest please reach by sending a message to the Climate Watch group at nsda_climate_watch [at] googlegroups [dot] com.

  • The Membership Working Group is looking for one additional member to join thier team. Please reach out to one of the co-chairs listed on the Membership Working Group webpage to express interest or ask questions.

  • The longstanding Content Interest Group is on currently on hiatus. If you are interested in chairing this group please reach out to Leadership at chair [at] ndsa [dot] com to learn more and talk about group formation.

General participation in Interest Group meetings

  • Anyone from an NDSA member organization is welcome to join one or more Interest Groups, just attend the meetings. The NDSA Calendar lists all meetings and additional details can be found on group webpages.

Join or lead a Working Group

  • The Working Group Schedule provides a general timeline as to when the NDSA publications are scheduled to start back up. Specific pportunities will be posted here, however if you are interested in leading one of these groups reach out to someone on Leadership. Communicate with collegues

NDSA has a listserv for sharing announcements and a Slack channel for asking questions and communicating with collegues.
